Ryan invited us to join his family at Roosevelt Lake and we gladly accepted. Laun had to work today, so we got to the lake a little late. At least we got a little tube time in.
Marlee loved the tube ride. She had a constant smile on her face. I love how she is such a dare devil.
I love the happiness on Porter and Clayton’s face.
Laun watching from the boat.
Porter practically got bounced into the standing position, but he held on.
Marlee loves to be by Alissa’s side whenever she can.
I thought for sure that Clayton was going to get bounced off…
but he managed to stay on.
This girl is cute.
The kids got plenty wet, luckily the water felt amazing.
I love this picture of Laun.
Thumbs up means go faster and thumbs down means slow down. I never saw Marlee put her thumbs down, only up:)
Heading off the lake. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow.
The boys found a coach whip snake and went after it. As Laun is helping them catch it he asks them if they are sure it isn’t a poisonous snake (because he didn’t see what kind it was) and they assured him it wasn’t. These boys know a little too much about snakes. They were ecstatic to catch it, normally they are so fast that they haven’t been able to catch one before. Porter picked him up and it bit him twice! So Laun took it from Porter to rescue the poor kid.
They had to grab its head so that they could hold the snake without being bitten (again).
I think it is a cool looking snake.
Everyone had to check out the snake before they let it go. Ryan and Kami only have daughters, so this whole snake catching thing doesn’t normally happen in their family.
The red mark on Porter’s hand is where the snake bit him (one of the times), but the crazy kid was determined to catch that snake.
Then we went out to eat. The fish and hamburgers were good.
This hamburger was a one pounder, the picture doesn’t do justice with how huge it was.
