Marlee wasn’t too happy when she saw that she had a guy teacher for her last session of swim.
Luckily, she warmed up fast & had a great time.
The boys cheered on their sister.
She high fived her swim teacher & then hopped in.
She ended up having lots of fun in swim lessons this summer.
I swear, if Porter looses any more teeth he isn’t going to have any left!
He lost another tooth on top, so now he has 3 in a row missing from the top & 1 gone on the bottom!
He also likes doing the new tongue trick- man, this kid is freakishly intense sometimes.
And then he celebrated with the happy dance. I guess he’s really excited about his new look.
The funny thing about Porter is that he asks for Laun to pull out his loose teeth…with pliers.
That would personally freak me out, but to each their own.
I am officially starting my 30’s today, a new decade! I think it is cool that since I was married at 18 & became pregnant at age 19, I was a wife & a mother for the entire decade of my 20’s! Here’s to a new decade!

After church my parents came in town. And Jonathan, Darleen, Darleen’s sister & Jamie all came over to help us eat the wonderful dinner that Laun made. Laun cooked/grilled: salmon, chicken, asparagus with bacon, sweet potatoes, corn & salad; it was delicious!
He also made this massive cake- here’s what it looked like before it was frosted:
Chocolate cake layer on top, white cake layer on bottom, with a coconut cream cheese frosting layer in the middle.
Then the outside of the cake was frosted with Chocolate almond cream cheese frosting- so good!
He made the number 30 on it with candles.

Happy 30th Birthday to me!
It is a good thing I have all my kids there to help me blow out the candles.

My big 3-0 Birthday is tomorrow, so tonight I got my present a little early…a new camera lens.

I guess he won’t have to ask Santa for his two front teeth because I am sure they will have already come in long before Christmas.
I turn 30 tomorrow!!! Today we went out & had some fun.
First we went swimming at Collier’s house & Marlee helped Laun drive up the crazy drive way:

Even Laun joined us in swimming (even though he technically isn’t suppose to because of his surgery). He came up with some crazy wrap to keep his incisions dry & it worked!

We noticed that there was lots of tadpoles in their pool, so we collected them & transferred them to their pond.

Then we headed to Texas Roadhouse for lunch: the rolls & virgin pina colada were yummy.
Jeff came into town & treated us to dinner. We celebrated Jonathan’s recent birthday & my upcoming (30th) birthday.
We had some good BBQ:
They also brought out a huge plate of ice cream to both Jonathan & I…there was plenty to share.
