We went with the Allen's to the Swap Meet tonight. It was crazy packed and the kids enjoyed spending (wasting) some money. Clayton got a little guitar, not bad, but Porter got this annoying light up sword that makes tons of noise...why? Marlee scored a cute hair bow for 50 cents. We got some kettle corn, guava salsa, and wagon wheels (see photo above). Oh how these wagon wheels make me miss when we lived in Phoenix. This guy used to drive around on Fridays and sale them in our neighborhood. The boys love their wagon wheels, me, not so much.

*Is it overly obvious that Laun loves posing for pictures?

I love Saturdays!

We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast- I love their food & little shop. They've had double-seater rocking chairs in the past, but none today, I want one someday.

Then we headed to the Ostrich Farm, sadly they weren't doing monster truck rides today, now we will have to go back. We still got to feed all the animals though.

This was funny too- goats way up high & you send food up to them.

The guys raced to see who could get the food up to the goats first.

My favorite part for sure, feeding the birds. I have so many pictures of this, because I loved all our facial expressions.
You hold a little cup of nectar & the birds come right to you. I don't think I need any description of how Marlee reacted, just check out the pictures:






Porter was in heaven, he loved feeding all the animals & didn't seem to ever be nervous. Just look at his cute smile.

Clayton was surprisingly hesitant to feed the animals (the kid who catches spiders or snakes with no problem). He started off like this so that the birds were not actually on him:

I have been loving Spring Break, too bad the boys have to go back to school next week:(

another museum...

We have been to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum a lot lately, it is a good thing we got a membership:) We just had to squeeze in 1 more museum before the Larsen's headed home.

John-John, aka little John, who really isn't that little any more. He is growing up fast & was such a big help around the house. He is the oldest Hall grandchild, when I married Laun he was just little. It's just crazy how fast time flies!

This nest has 2 baby humming birds in it, they were so tiny:



I was so excited when the mom came to feed them, but sadly, this is the only angle I was able to get of them eating(there was lots of people around). The leaves are blocking the moms face- bummer.
