I got really sick last night. I had a migraine & was throwing up a lot. I think it worried the kids seeing me that sick. Clayton wanted to make me something & he got Porter & Marlee involved, too. How sweet is this card:
I sure love my kiddos.

We were happy that the boys games were at the same park today & that there games were at different times. It was so great to see both of them play today. Usually Laun & I switch off taking the boys to their games, so he see’s one play that day & I see the other. The boys were also excited because they finally got to see each other play.
Clayton had a great game. At one point our goalie dove to block the ball, but it went under him & Clayton was there to block it just in time.
Porter loved watching Clayton play.
Jonathan & Darleen also came to watch the boys games.
Clayton must be unhappy about something.
Exciting day…Clayton scored his first goal in a soccer game!!!! He has scored plenty of goals in practices, but at every game the goalie has always blocked the ball. He was so pumped up. Luckily, I saw him score a goal, but I missed getting a picture since I was walking Porter over to his field. I love this picture Laun took of Clayton celebrating.
Go Blue Devils! Their coaches are husband & wife. The game was intense & they ended up tying 8 to 8.
I also love this picture Laun took of Clayton’s team running through the tunnel.
It is nice when Laun takes the camera because there is actually some pictures of me. I really do exist!
Love this picture of Clayton & I discussing the game.
Now on to watch Porter’s game. Laun took all these pictures.
Porter was pretty excited that one of the parents sprayed his hair green.
There was an indirect kick, so the whole team got to block the goal box. Porter blocked it & prevented the other team from scoring.
Porter did an awesome job today.
Team huddle- Go Green Hornets!
Porter almost scored a goal…
…but the goalie blocked it.
I love watching Porter during games, he cracks me up with his intensity.
Porter's team ended up loosing, but they all played great & never gave up.
We look forward to Soccer Saturdays & love cheering on our boys!
The public online school our boys go to (Arizona Connections Academy) had a field trip at Kartchner Caverns in Benson, AZ today. I was excited because I have wanted to go to Kartchner Caverns before we moved from Tucson, plus going with the school made the tickets much cheaper. Once we got there we had plenty of time to walk around before our tour started. The boys (as always) found lots of creatures.
They caught a desert iguana, which they were very happy about since they have never caught one before.
They had so much fun roaming around & it was such great weather.
I love the way this little girl runs.
Everyone that came with the Connections Academy wore a name tag. Marlee’s had to go on her back, otherwise she’d pull it off.
Some of our neighbors carpooled with us- Sophia (she also does the online school) & Joyce (Sophia’s mom). We had lunch together before the tour began.
The boys also found a tarantula.
Sophia & Marlee had to check out the tarantula, too.
Looking at pictures…
The boys also found some grasshoppers.
There was lots of pretty flowers & plants.
The bee’s really seemed to like these purple flowers.
I thought this funnel spider web was cool looking.
A stage area (not sure when they use it).
Marlee was so glad Sophia went, she loves girl time.
There is a little gift shop & museum area. It tells of the Kartchner brothers experience & how they found the cavern on their property & kept it a secret for 15 years.
They also show a model of the mountain & how the cavern looks inside. It is pretty cool what is hidden under that mountain.
It started raining a little before our tour started.
No visitors are allowed to take pictures inside the Cavern, so we took one of the kids before the tour started. I love that Marlee is copying Sophia by flexing her muscles.
The rain makes the desert even prettier.
You go under this ramada to wait for your tour to start & go over rules. Then you ride up a little ways to the Cavern.
Inside the cavern are many different formations. It is crazy to think that all of it is hidden under the ground. Marlee did so well, I was very impressed. It is darker & humid in there & she stayed near me & didn’t touch anything she shouldn’t. She also talked quietly…which is a big deal. I was so proud of her. Of course the boys did well, but I expected they would. Porter liked it more than Clayton. Clayton didn’t like that you couldn’t touch anything & sometimes found the tour boring (although he did like the tour guide)-ha ha. It was neat though to be under a mountain & see the different formations. I really wish you could take pictures of the inside, oh well. There was also another big room cavern, but there are bats in it, so we couldn’t go in it. It is only open during certain parts of the year, maybe we will go back & see it sometime before we move. We all had a good time today & enjoyed the views & cooler weather.
