Laun pulled the “train” today.
He pulled Marlee’s green bike and Carter in the baby attachment.
All while getting irritated with me for taking pictures- hahaha. He was ready to hit the road!
When we got home he made us yummy popcorn as always.

We went on a walk before 7 am today and our dogs weren’t the only animals we saw.
This is a lousy picture, but we saw a bobcat. I didn’t bother getting closer to get a better view.
Carter and I are lagging behind.
We read scriptures early this morning, which is sort of a miracle when it gets done before school. Carter is pretty entertaining during our scripture reading.
Porter helping with dinner or just waiting for a taste…he loves dough.
The kids thought it would be funny to put shirts on the dogs.
We went to Andy and Elizabeth’s house tonight. The kids had a great time with cousins and spotting creatures. They like using the light to see the scorpions glow.
She may have a bloody nose, but I wouldn’t feel too bad for her…she gets to lay on a cot while watching a movie.
We came up with a new system around here. We started a penny jar and as soon as all the kids together fill the jar with 100 pennies by doing good things (chores, listening, helping with Carter, etc.), we buy a fun treat (something we wouldn’t normally get). They take turns picking out what treat, Clayton picked first and wanted drumsticks.
Tonight we went on a family bike ride and stopped by one of our favorite stores (Trader Joes) for a drink.
Carter just slept away in the bike trailer.
Then we came home and ate this new ice cream-sorbet we found, so good.
Carter likes to join us for scriptures and prayers.
I love a sleeping baby.
Laun and the kids got me a griddle and spatula for my birthday. I can’t believe we’ve gone this long without one!
Laun put that griddle to use real fast by making breakfast.
For lunch we went to Costco and I just picked out whatever looked good and we brought it home to eat.
Clayton is such a handsome boy- almost young man and a wonderful big brother, just ask Carter.
I’m really worried that Carter doesn’t get enough attention- not. This boy is surrounded by love and stuffed animals:)
Laun made one of my very favorites for dinner- salmon, along with tortellini and veggies.
For dessert I requested Costco’s pound cake with fresh whipping cream and strawberries. Laun is a pro in the kitchen, so everything he makes is fabulous.
great combo
Laun put the numbers 32 on my birthday cake…so much easier than lighting 32 candles.
Then we headed to the park and brought the dogs along, too.
We also brought the cutest baby ever!
And ended a great birthday the way we normally end most days, reading scriptures as a family. When we are really on the ball we read together in the morning, but quite often we end up reading at night.
Thanks to my family for making my birthday so special; love you all.
