I love the way Marlee looks at her Daddy & I love the way he looks at her.
Marlee is snuggled up in this chair often:
Outside looks like a winter wonderland:
Clayton had a 100 project for school so, Laun gave him the idea to make an orca out of 100 beans. We did it together as a fhe one night & I think it turned out good:
Our princess:
The boys have enjoyed watching the Westovers awesome collection of movies:
I love her little smile:
Here is Porter unenthusiastically feeding Marlee her bottle:
My mom made me this sling to carry Marlee in & it put her right to sleep:
Here is Marlee pretending she is a baby kangaroo:
love these feet:

I’m starting to hate doctor appointments
As a mom my least favorite task is taking my kids to the doctor. They hate it, I hate it, who doesn’t hate it?
Clayton hurt his foot jumping today, so I took him to the doctor to get an x-ray. Thankfully it isn’t broken, just bruised. On the downside the boys both have sinus infections, but at least they got some medicine.
Then my sister Laura babysat Clayton while I took Porter and Marlee to Salt Lake for Porter’s GI doctor appointment. We waited in the room for almost 2 hours for the doctor to come in!!! All I found out is that he needs to be on milk of magnesia to clean out his colon. Then I drove home and we met up with Laun and Clayton at Angie’s restaurant for dinner. At least we ended the night well.

thumb sucker
I think we might have a thumb sucker on our hands…the very first for us.
She gets mad as heck and then starts to calm down as she sucks her hand/thumb.

mom withdrawals
My mom is leaving for home today, I’m so sad. I took her to Logan and the Layton’s will take her to the airport. She was such a big help and fun to visit with. I will miss her a ton. While she was here not only did she cook meals, clean, help with the kids, and so on…she sewed me a nursing apron, a boppy pillow and made Marlee some tiny pink bows. I love my mom more than I can express. I cried over her leaving. Yes, it is my fourth baby and I still cried. I hope Marlee loves me as much as I love my mom.
On a happier note, Laun applied for a scholarship and won! He had to write a paper about his future career plans and won one thousand dollars! Oh happy day, go Laun!
Tonight Laun took the boys to the Lewiston movie theater to see Madagascar 2. The Lewiston theater here is so cool. It has huge red curtains and is totally old school with amazing prices on movie tickets and snacks.

lazy Sunday
The boys and I went with my mom to church today. Laun stayed home with Marlee, since we were told at the hospital to not take Marlee to church until May because of RSV season…that’s right, May-crazy! I guess Laun and I will just have to switch off going to church and watching Marlee. We just watched tv and relaxed all afternoon.
We have plenty of Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches in the freezer from Casper’s.
Laun loves to snuggle with Marlee.

full house
Tonight we had Ashley and James Calder, Eugene and Brooke Norris and the Layton’s over for dinner while my mom was still in town. My mom made a roast dinner and we all visited. Thanks to Marlee we have seen lots of family.

number one
Even when Marlee is sleeping she never forgets that she is number one.
It is kind of nice when both the boys are at school and I have time with just Marlee. I’ve also loved visiting with my mom all day.

little cuties
Marlee keeping warm in my jacket.
She has been taking the pacifier some, but she isn’t really getting the hang of it.
This little boy is so cute.
Laun gave Porter a sweet haircut tonight…don’t worry, he ended up buzzing it all off.

my new look
This is how I look the majority of the time- sitting on the couch with my nursing apron on, feeding Marlee.

this girl is not lacking for attention…
I think to say that Laun and the boys adore Marlee would be an understatement.
Apparently, it takes 3 people to get the princess dressed, all while making sure she stays warm enough during the process.
Don’t worry Marlee, you aren’t going anywhere, Porter’s making sure of it:)
It’s cute how Laun and Porter are each putting a sock on Marlee, all while Clayton is rubbing her head. I sure hope this girl doesn’t suffer from too much attention.
And to think, Clayton was sad when I first told him I was expecting a girl…it looks like he got over it:)
Porter’s trying to get Marlee to take the binky with no luck.
I love how Porter is touching Marlee’s little feet.
just precious…
Daddy’s girl
I think Marlee loves this portable heater and hopefully all the attention she gets.
Today Laun took my parents to Gossners Cheese factory, Caspers Ice Cream Shoppe and Napoleon Dynamite movie sites. Justin and Laura came over and joined us for dinner.
