cute kids

Now that we are in a house I can actually walk Marlee to school, instead of drive her there! Carter loves to go on walks and I get some exercise in.

Marlee wore her “clovers” today and I told her that they are actually called Converse.

church and hair

I love that our church building is just down the street, so we can walk there. And the boys junior high is that brick building you see, right across the street from the church. We still haven’t unpacked the iron, so we went to church with wrinkly clothes, but we were on time, so progress is progress.

Our home is just a little ways down on the right.

We don’t have our kitchen table set up yet, so I am super happy the owners left their patio furniture.

Laun cut a lot of hair tonight.

I got a trim, but I’m thinking next time I will have Laun chop quite a bit more off.

Claytons’ been asking for this haircut for a long time. Super short on the sides and longer on the top.

And Porter got a trim, too. It’s nice to have moved in and to have hair clippers again!

Trent and Lindsie were so kind to have us over for dinner tonight and it was delicious. After we stopped by our storage unit to find a cord for the dryer, so we can do laundry (at our house and not at the laundry mat) and loaded up some more stuff. Now we only have one load left!

moving & soccer

Well, the moving process has started! We returned the camper to Mary this morning and then got keys to our rental. We could only get done so much unpacking, until the soccer games started! Clayton has two games today. He is on the B team, but the A team requested his help, so Laun took him to that game in Highland, while I took Porter to his game in Provo. Carter and Marlee are my soccer buds. Marlee plays with friends and Carter kicks it with mom and treats to get him through the game. Porter played great and his team won!

This is a real kitchen folks! I’m so happy to be in a home. A home where we can shower as long as we want, eat real meals and be so close to the kids schools!

Clayton had another soccer game tonight for his team and he did great. Aunt Mary and her kids came to watch and brought some KFC chicken. It’s fun being with family.

That blue blob to the left is Clayton kicking the ball.

Then tonight we had several ward members show up, along with Mary and her kids, and they help us unload and reload our trailer from the storage unit and into our house. I’m so thankful for all the help!

the wait is over

In the camper life, this is how I get dressed some days, laying on my bed, with the accordion divider closed, it’s awesome not standing while trying to dress;)

But, the wait is over! We get to move into our rental, 3 days earlier than planned, tomorrow! We actually stayed in a hotel tonight, so we could start the day off with showers and breakfast. Porter will take more than 1 shower because he is so excited to leave the water on the whole time, without having to turn it off in between lathering and take as long as he wants without worrying about running out of water. He was pretty happy.

quality

With this camper life we’ve been eating junk, I mean quality food. Lots of frozen and easy to make meals. The kids are actually super excited about eating corn dogs on a regular basis.

Marlee makes quality art. I love this cow jumping over the moon that she made.

in town

Now that we don’t have our dogs anymore, we can move the camper into town. Plus, I don’t have to worry when I have to leave the dogs for the day if they are ok or not and it will be faster to get the kids to school and soccer. Our new spot is in Spanish Fork and near a great park.

Clayton wanted to play soccer today at Marlee’s elementary school, so the young kids played on the playground and Porter read.

Carter is becoming quite the climber.

Our camper is at Canyon View Park and the duck pond is a huge hit.

The kids also enjoyed the playground.

Clayton feeds the ducks merely so he can catch them.

Carter likes petting the “geegle”.

I love how these two our buddies.

It’s fun watching Carter starting to stand as he holds on to something.

Right now he is wanting Porter’s gogurt.

Then we went on a long walk down the river path. Clayton was probably on the rip sticks for hours today! It’s fun being in a new spot.

sleep

A baby sleeping in your arms is heaven, now I need to lay him in his play pen so I can fall asleep, but I don’t want to let him go.

bye bye dogs

Our rental home doesn’t allow dogs, so Ryan said he’d take them to his house. Ryan happen to be in Utah for a hunt this weekend, so we drove out there. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture with the kids and the dogs in daylight, but oh well. Marlee is holding Raggles, who she’ll really miss and Dutch is busy staring at a deer. I’m so thankful that Ryan and Kami are willing to watch our dogs for us.

cat phone 542

I got to catch up with Kami and we went on a walk.

The older kids went on a Ranger ride and happen to see Ryan’s friend get a deer.

When they got back, Carter was so happy to see the deer and kept petting it and saying “Ollie”. He says that a lot and now we know it either means deer or he wants to pet an animal.

cat phone 539

Carter could not get enough of the deer, I think he’ll enjoy hunting when he grows up.
