Laun and the boys carved pumpkins tonight and then went trick or treating.
Clayton was a hunter, our neighbor Jacob was Poncho Via Zombie (I’ve never heard of that one before) and Porter was superman.
They had a successful night with plenty of candy.
Today we went on a walk and then swung on this tree swing near the trail.
I’m getting quite the baby bump.

Marlee got a little moody about walking today, I’m sure she’ll have no problem walking tonight as she trick or treats:)
Marlee often asks to wear makeup, so I told her she could on Halloween.

We missed Ben and Mabel for the picture because they are older and too cool, so they go trick or treating with friends instead:)

The kids loved racing from door to door and magically never complained once about how far we walked. It’s amazing what kids will do when candies involved.
The kids got entirely too much candy.

I am just loving the fall season.
Tonight we went to Spring Lake to go kayaking.

Marlee really enjoyed it. I like how the kayaks have a back and can seat two.
Today Martha and I took Gavin and Marlee to Spring Lake for a walk. They liked the metal people.
It is such a pretty place to walk.

Then we went to Figonnes to taste olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They were so good and I found 4 different flavors to take home.

Marlee was happy to just play this afternoon. She loved this train track that Martha helped her put together.
Marlee has enjoyed playing with her cousins and all their toys.
After church we went on a 3.5 mile hike on the Vista trail in Sugarloaf. I learned that Marlee does better on hikes with Laun around. She did pretty good, besides the two whinny spells. We saw some beautiful views and the trail has a lot of variety, which makes it a great hike.
I would love to do this hike again when all this dry grass is green again, although I like the goldish hue too.
Marlee loved walking on the leaves and hearing the crunching sounds.
She was completely avoiding the trail in order to walk on the leaves, which is ironic because later she slipped on a pile of leaves and then decided she was no longer a fan of the leaves and the fall season.
I love that you can see some vineyards on the hill, there are tons of vineyards around the Santa Rosa area.
Mabel and Ben are such big helpers.

After sitting and snacking for a bit we headed off again.
I was glad Marlee got to experience the fall season, we don’t have much of it in Tucson. There are so many pretty fall colors here.
When we got home Richard and Martha made a delicious Sunday dinner.
