Let's go fly a kite...

We went on a drive & then the kids rode their bikes, played in the water & flew a kite. The weather was great. Porter was excited to try out his new big boy bike.

Clayton's training wheels are gone!!!!!!

Clayton was kind of scared to have his training wheels off but, once they were he learned to ride his bike in one day (thanks to his Daddy's help). He was so excited & proud of himself. Way to go Clayterade!

Count your many blessings...

Today in relief society they talked about how our trials can really be blessings. The trials that I have gone through have strengthened my testimony & have helped me grow closer to Heavenly Father. I am especially thankful for temples & the plan of salvation. It brings me such peace to know that my family will be together forever. I feel so blessed to be married to such a wonderful husband. Laun is such an amazing freind & father. I am so grateful for our four children Clayton, Porter, Cooper & Marlee. They all have their own unique & special spirit. I am thankful to be a wife & mother. I am thankful for my parents & all that they have done for me. I feel fortunate to live in America where I am free to worship as I please. I am thankful for a warm home to live in, functioning vehicles, doctors, my metal hip, eduacation, friends & family. The list of things I am thankful for could go on & on. I hope that even on hard days I will count my many blessings.

Seeing an old friend...

Yesterday I meet up with my friend Becky & her children in Salt Lake at Temple Square. We were friends in highschool & it had been 6 years since I saw her last! We had such a good time catching up!

The Layton's joined us for the Easter weekend & we watched movies, played the wii, went to church, decorated & hid eggs, went on a walk & ate sugar.

Laura & Justin

The boys looking good for church

Pretty in pink

Poor Justin- the boys never leave him alone

Hiding eggs

Marlee really slacked off on finding eggs this year

Decorating eggs

The kids with their Easter loot.
There was way too much sugar, hopefully the Easter Bunny will learn a lesson & not bring so much next year.

Hunting for easter eggs...

We went to the Lewiston easter egg hunt & also had one at our house.

The other day I took the boys to see some helicopters that were at USU. They got to sit in one & watch them fly away.

Marlee is already 3 months old !

Marlee is growing so fast. She loves to move & has been making lots of noises. It is so fun having her as part of our family.

The boys love Marlee & are always telling her how cute & beautiful she is.

Marlee is a Daddy's girl...hmmm, I wonder why?
