Turley Family Reunion- CA

We had a family reunion with my parents, their children, & grandchildren. We went to California & stayed in a condo. It was a great reunion. I was still using a cane since I was only 5 weeks out from my right hip replacement. It was also only 13 weeks after my c-section & 11 weeks after losing Cooper. Crazy timing but, I think our family actually needed a good vacation.

We went on a sailboat ride:

Rachel, Me, & Laura- on our boat was our family, my sisters, & my parents

Clayton had the time of his life-I'm suprised he never fell off because he had no fear of getting right near the edge of the boat

Here is the boat that Richard & Andy's families were on:

I love this temple:

If you look close you can see my sweet wooden cane that Laun made for me. By the way, holding a child on your shoulders after a recent hip replacement is probably not reccomended. But hey, my hip feels better now then it did before my replacement.

Enjoying the beach:

My parents

the grandkids building sand castles

My good looking husband
Since I couldn't really go in the water with my cane- Laun carried me in

We went to this aquarium:

cousisns

the sharks

the jellyfish were probably my favorite

I like how far off Porters feet are from the stool

checking out the sea life

Andy's family & Rachel joined us to go pick strawberries:

The strawberries were so good, we ate some of them with chocolate later that night.

The Rob & Meralee Turley family:

Our family-this makes me miss Coop):

My parents with their children:

And in case you couldn't tell from this picture of Clayton, we had a blast. One complaint- the vacation was too short.

I turned 25 today!

Today is my 25th birthday. By the age of 25 I have been married for 6 1/2 years & have had 3 boys! Laun got me a CD player & a printer for my digital camera. We went to Gary Hunter’s property tonight. We rode in the pinzgauer (military utility vehicle), which is fun because so many people can cram in. The boys had fun riding on Biggs, the horse.

Father’s Day

For Father’s Day I gave Laun a frame with pictures of him & each of our boys & their handprint. That is the only Father’s Day gift that he will ever have from Cooper, so it is pretty special.

We had dinner outside tonight & Kalli kept all of us entertained.

We went by the cemetery tonight to see Cooper’s grave. This picture is of the boys on Grandpa Mike’s headstone.

We also went on a walk to the creek. The Larsen’s came over tonight.

I love to see the temple

We went w/ some of the Hall family to the Snowflake Temple. Jonathan is leaving for his mission soon, he is going to Russia. He will be missed but, we are proud of him.

I am almost a month out from my hip replacement so, I am still using a cane. I get lots of great compliments on this sweet wooden cane Laun made for me.

On the way home we stopped by the grocery store & John convinced me to use the "scooter".

driving around

Alissa & Porter had fun riding around the house on this toy semi truck today.

Keith Urban concert

Lisa invited me to the Keith Urban concert and it was awesome. Not only was his music sweet, but he is a great performer. We were up in a "box"-I think that's what they call it; which was perfect since I am still on crutches. It was an awesome night.
