We went to Gary Hunter’s property today & did some horseback riding. Here is Porter taking a spin.
I am so happy that I can ride a horse again. Before my hip replacement I couldn’t ride a horse anymore because my arthritis was so bad.

My parents & Rachel came to Tucson today & we all went to Colossal Cave. We had never been there before, so I was excited to go.

On the way home we picked prickly pears. When we got home my dad made prickly pear syrup & it was so good. My mom & I made alfredo pizza & brownies-yum. My family just came for the day, it was good having them here.
Today was crazy hair day for school. Clayton was excited to go to school with colored spots in his hair.
We took the boys to see the Mesa, AZ temple tonight.
We weren’t really dressed for the occasion, but we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity. Gotta love Clayton in cowboy boots with shorts! Wow…look how much Porter locks his knees, he gets that from me.

I am so thankful for the temple blessings & our eternal family.
Yesterday we did lots of canning. I love that canning in our house is a family effort.
We now have canned pickles, peaches, applesauce, apple pie filling, prickly pear syrup & jelly.
The pantry looks so much better now.
Today I volunteered in Clayton’s classroom. I will volunteer every week & so will Karlee & we will swap babysitting our younger one’s. It was fun to be in the classroom & watch Clayton. He is such a social bug & knows all the kids in his class & lots from other classes. It is fun watching him make friends so easily.

I was so glad that Clayton liked having me in the classroom so much. I noticed there are 4 LDS kids in his class.
After volunteering I picked up Porter & we went to the park. This little boy has such a cute smile.

We went & picked peaches & pears today, mainly peaches. The boys had so much fun using the fruit pickers.
We always love eating some of the fruit as we pick.
Hopefully someday we will have many fruit trees of our own.
Porter loved getting help from his Daddy to reach some of the higher peaches.

Tonight we stopped by Laun’s cousin Sean’s house & picked some prickly pears. We brought tongs for picking.
