The Chiricahua National Park

We went on a mini family vacation. We went out to eat at this cute little apple restaurant, stayed in a hotel, and went swimming. The next morning we went to the Chiricahua National Park where we went on a hike, caught lizards and had a picnic lunch. Marlee did great and loved being in the snugli while we hiked. Then we went and picked a bunch of apples and some prickly pears to can. Later that night we found one of the few Krispy Kreme's left and Marlee got to try her first donut- which she loved. Clayton is a huge sugar fan and when he got to what I think was his 3rd donut he handed it to Laun and said here you can have this- I don't feel so good today. We had a great time and the boys have quite the lizard collection now.

1st tooth

Marlee got her 1st tooth, it is on the bottom. I can't post a picture because I have not been able to get one- she always puts her tounge in the way. Oh well, who needs to see a tooth- it is white just like every other tooth you've ever seen. Laun discovered her tooth & that explains her crankiness lately.

Marlee sits, does crunches & drools...

Marlee sat on her own for awhile today. Then she rolled over & did her usual laying position- crunches. It is fun watching our boys get excited everytime Marlee does something new.

Here is Marlee with Uncle John- he calls her Bob (because of Bob Marley) & she looks everytime. So if you want to get her attention call her Marlee or Bob, either way you will get her to look.
