Went out with the Turley ladies for lunch at Sweet Tomatoes.

Then we went to the movie Enchanted, it was a funny movie.

Tonight Laun & I went with Julie & Kody to the Phoenix Suns Game. It was awesome. Julie’s dad had these great tickets on the 3rd row! The tickets also included free food during the whole game. There is a side area where there was all this awesome food & the basketball players walk right by you on there way to & from their locker room.

 

The view from the 3rd row was awesome- Steve Nash was the best.

 

This is how close you get to the Suns players as they go to their locker room- crazy.

It was so fun to go on a date with Laun & hang out with the Krouse’s. 

Christmas

We were at my parents for Christmas. We had the boys line up in the hallway before they came out for stockings & presents.

Love their facial expressions.

They loved finding what Santa put in their stockings.

Always a fan of cotton candy.

Another fan of cotton candy, my dad.

My mom made the boys quilts.

Clayton got a BB gun. 

Porter was excited for the remote control truck & Clayton was glad to get a pirate ship.

Christmas is so much more fun with kids.

We had lunch at Grandma Zelda’s house & dinner at Grandma Lucy’s.

We went to the Mesa Temple tonight to see the Christmas lights.

Porter liked the statue of Jesus Christ in the Visitor’s Center, he asked if he could touch Him.

 

Clayton liked the nativity.

This morning we went to Hyatt’s birthday ( a boy of Laun’s friend Keith) & this afternnon we went to Ginger’s birthday (the girl I used to babysit).

We went to the Church Museum.

 

It is so cool seeing Joseph Smith’s handwriting.

 

 

Then we went to the Salt Lake Temple, first time I’ve been inside it.

Ready for Andy’s big day. The weather is crazy today!

His work is hung up in the BYU library, the hallway that lead to the Family History Center.

It was rubbings of headstones, starting with Cooper on top & showing both sides of his family.

 

The all white blank pieces are of those who have not passed away yet (Laun & I, Lucy, my parents,Turley Grandparents, Grandpa Mecham & Grandma Black).

 

I love this piece so much. Andy is so talented & thoughtful. It has been 8 months since Cooper passed away.
