weekend with family

Saturday:

My brother Ted’s family came to visit.

We watched Clayton’s soccer game.

We had lunch at Guadalajara Grill where Andy’s family met up with us.

The salsa is made fresh at your table and really good, but I wasn’t very impressed with my meal.

The kids enjoyed looking at themselves in the mirror and kept entertained.

The dads took all the kids hiking to Sabino Canyon with sack lunches, while the ladies (Richelle, Elizabeth and I) ate dinner at the church and watched the General Relief Society Broadcast. Afterwards, we all visited at Andy’s for awhile.

 

Sunday:

Marlee slept in our bed last night since there was company over using her room. I love our sleeping beauty.

 

We all went to Andy’s ward to see his kids in the Primary Program, they did a great job. Then we had dinner and dessert at our house before Ted’s family had to head home.

Marlee is cool, even when she’s sleeping…

Marlee rarely takes naps anymore, but she crashed today and this is how I found her:

Sabino Canyon with the Turley’s

We are excited that my brother Andy’s family moved to Tucson and that they live near one of our favorite spots…Sabino Canyon. We hiked in, played in the water, ate dinner and hiked out. All these pictures were taken with my phone, so the quality isn’t that great.

My belly is growing and growing. In a little over 5 months Hall baby #5 will arrive!

Laun’s home!!!

I’m so glad Laun is back home. He’s been gone at least a third of my pregnancy! He brought us back treasures as usual. Each kid got their own antler and I got a skull with a full set of antlers. The kids were also pretty pumped about their rock candy.

A guys week

Laun left on the 15th to join Ryan in the Blue for his elk hunt. I’m so glad Laun has an iPhone because he takes pictures when he goes on trips.

Gary Hunter was there and Jared came for the last part of the trip. They did a lot of horseback riding.

They went to Alpine Grill and Laun said this hamburger was really good.

busy day

This morning we had the boys soccer games. Here’s Clayton’s team being shaded by the parents as they eat their mid-game snacks…it was a hot day.

Then we headed over to Jayne Collier’s house to do some swimming. It’s the end of September and still hot enough to swim!

Laun has been gone all week with his brother Ryan. He also got to spend some time with his brother Jared. They went horseback riding and he’s been having a great time. He gets back tonight and we are all anxious to see him.

Marlee scored two goals in her soccer game tonight, which is pretty impressive considering she only pays attention for about half of the game:)

Today I got to hang out at my brother Andy’s house…and not in Utah, they moved to Tucson!!!! I’m excited to have family near by. My mom, Laura and Kenley came to help with the move, so we all had dinner together tonight.

preschool spaghetti night

This little cutie and I went to her preschool open house-Spaghetti night. She is really enjoying preschool and being with friends.

look who can write their name…

Marlee can! The blue writing is hers and I am so proud that instead of just writing her initials she now writes her whole first name! I especially love how she writes an R:) Now if I could just get her to only write on paper and not everywhere else (like her bedding, dolls, the wall, her clothes, etc.).

French horn

Clayton is in beginning band this year. This will be his first time learning to play an instrument and he was pretty excited to bring the french horn home today. I have a feeling our house just got a lot nosier.

I’m thankful for the time I have with this little girl-sure love her.

Waiting for practice to start…

They have a short practice, just once a week.

It is so cute seeing little kids do stretches.

Then they play a short game with these little net goals.

Marlee didn’t even look at the soccer ball for half the game…she would run fast and stare at Laun and I with a big grin on her face. Laun thinks she might make a better cheerleader than soccer player:)

She was one happy girl, especially for the after game snacks.
