The boys were excited to dress up for Halloween at school. Clayton went as a cowboy & Porter as an octopus. The kiddos are proudly showing off their pumpkins they picked the other night.

I love the ward trunk or treats- they are safe and so much faster than going door to door. We took Kalli & Raegan Hall with us (Ryan & Kami Hall’s girls)- we are babysitting them this week.
Clayton was a mummy:
Porter was an octopus (my mom made this for Clay years ago):

Marlee was a chicken (it is hard to tell since her hood isn’t on):

There was a DJ & the kids had fun dancing.
Once we got home the kids had to check out their loot.
My mom was in town & we went to pick some pumpkins and meet up with the Horner’s & the Allen’s.
The kids loved picking out there own pumpkins- in fact, the boys loved it so much that they were never around long enough for me to get any pictures of them. And Marlee went from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to decide which one was her favorite. The kids were happy because Grandma said they could get any pumpkin they wanted.
We ate dinner as we watched a Charlie Brown Halloween movie and then the kids went through the corn maze, jumped on the jumping castle and climbed trees.
We even got to go on a hay ride.

This apple was so big that I think it will keep the doctor away for a year!

We drove up to Mount Lemon and did a little fishing & snacking.
Marlee loved playing in the water and the boys fished & caught lizards.
It is so beautiful up there.
Porter was nice enough to walk clear back to the truck with me since I forgot my hw.
Marlee coloring on grocery ads- got to find something to keep her busy.
We stopped by the little store & got some amazing fudge. Then we went to the cookie cabin for a big cookie that is 6 different cookies baked into one. I do not recommend going there, not very good cookies if you ask me. If you want good cookies come to my house & I will bake you some:)
Today Clayton participated in a little skit at school. The kids in the 4th grade wrote stories and then their peers choose a story to act out. Clayton likes doing things like this so he was excited. And Marlee was so excited to see her brothers.

He was the narrator and talked about a girl who gets a pig nose and then takes medicine to get back her normal nose again.
Lucy & Laun made cheese today…that’s right, homemade cheese. It turned out good too. The pictures below are of the cheese in cheese cloth and then the final product.
