fish aplenty

We had some fish for dinner from our Utah trip…I don’t think we will run out of fish anytime soon.

Happy {31st} Birthday to me

I got breakfast in bed, but I did end up eating at the table with my family. 

All morning the kids and I sat around eating candy and watching Granite Flat episodes. It was nice to just relax. And the boys did all the laundry and dishes and wouldn’t let me do any of it:)

Then we went out for lunch to Zinburgers. I got a salad, but there hamburgers are really good too. During the summers they have $3 kid meals which include a hamburger, sweet potato fries or regular fries and a drink. I am all about a good deal.

Laun ‘s hamburger was good.

Laun must know what makes my heart happy because he picked me out some cool glass jars.

Each of the kids got to pick out something to go in the jars, so of coarse they filled them with snacks. Porter chose cookies, Marlee pretzels and Clayton gummy worms.

Laun made a delicious dinner…steak , sweet potatoes and corn on the cob.

The kids got to light the birthday candles.

It is a good thing there wasn’t actually 31 candles or I don’t think I could’ve blown them all out at once.

Laun made a yummy ice cream cake. The bottom layer was chocolate covered graham cookies with coconut oil, then cookies and cream ice cream, then chocolate mint cookies and then mint ice cream- so good.

It was such a nice day to just relax and hang out with my family. They sure make me feel special.

My parents got me a new blender for my Bosch, since mine broke, so I am excited to have one again. And Lucy sent me some cute fabric awhile back that I wanted (I already made Marlee some pillowcases with the fabric).

This is how her face looks pretty much the entire time, with a huge smile. When all the other kids looked scared Marlee just smiled away.

Marlee even smiled when they got some air.

Kami gave the menfolk quite a scare. She is one fast boat driver.

Marlee kept smiling all day, here she is happily climbing down the boat ladder to swim in the lake.

Ryan drove the boat so fast, it is a miracle Kami, Lucy or I never fell off.

Our abs ached from laughing so hard and our hands hurt from holding on for dear life.

I love these boys.

Two kids fell off the tube on that ride, but they just keep getting right back on.

This time Porter managed to stay on, even though he basically stood straight up.

What a shocker (not), Clayton is fishing.

Alissa was so scared on the fast ride, she was screaming at her dad, but she made it.

Probably the highlight of my day was watching this little girl on the easy ski.

Plus, we finally tired Marlee out. On the way home we discovered that she was asleep sucking her thumb and that she had pulled her bathing suit half way down so that she could touch her belly button. This girl.
