Thai food

Sunthorn came over and was our personal Thai chef! He made all sorts of foods and spices that have never been in our kitchen before and his presentation is impressive.

  

  

 

 

And Laun grilled a raccoon…that’s right, a raccoon. Tasted a little like bacon, but I had a hard time eating it. Porter & Lauren had no problem though, they hammered.

 

We finished the meal off with something normal-cotton candy. The Allen’s brought over tons of hard candies for us to make into cotton candy and I think we are set for a long time.

 

 

We got a trampoline and it has been awesome…why did we wait so long to get one?

Happy Birthday to Darleen!

We had Darleen over for her birthday meal & cheesecake. She is beautiful & so great with our kids. We are happy to have her as part of our family.

fishing trip at clear creek

Laun’s friend Sunthorn (at UofA-from Thailand) is always telling Laun to take him fishing. So Laun, Jamie and Sunthorn took a fishing trip. While they were gone I stayed busy and Rachel (Jamie’s wife) and I took all our kiddos bowling and out for ice cream.

 

I love how Sunthorn is just full of smiles… especially in the picture with the tiny fish!

 

 

It seems that wherever Laun and Jamie go they find snakes. I think these big horn sheep are awesome.

2 degree’s down and 1 to go-

Laun got his Master’s Degree certificate (or whatever that’s called) in the mail. He decided not to walk, so no cap & gown pictures. We went out for BBQ to celebrate. I am so proud of him! He now has 2 degree’s (I am a little jealous) and is working on his Doctorate now. I love you Laun & appreciate all your hard work.

I found some matching aprons for Marlee and I at Savers. She was so excited to wear an apron & bake some brownies. I love that she wants to be like her momma (I’m sure that won’t last forever).

Laun cooked dinner outside on the wok tonight & it looked so pretty that I had to get a picture.
After the chicken & veggies cooked, we added noodles-yum.

Benson is my sister Rachel’s second baby but first boy…and boy is he sweet

   

a night swim

We went to Dr. Collier’s home for dinner & a night swim. The picture isn’t very clear, but this pool is amazing. It goes right over the edge into the dessert-such a great view. The kids loved swimming & the blue frosted cupcakes.
