The Larsen family came to Utah & they stayed at the Johnson’s house with us. We had 3 days of fun while they were here…
Carter thought Aunt Jennette made a great chair.
They swam, played on the playground & tried out the crow’s nest.
I was surprised how fast Carter warmed up to their family, that’s so unusual for him & they loved holding him.
Carter hated the big shoes that his braces slid into, so they added a traction pad to the bottom so that he can wear them without shoes also.
One day we all went to Salt Lake, except for Laun, since he was working. Bridger & Andy came along, too.
We went to the visitor center near the temple.
I love the Christ statue & so did Carter.
Pointing to Jesus-
Me & my boys
We checked out the museum area.
Carter liked all the attention.
I like the temple replica, so the kids can see what the inside looks like.
Then we went to the awesome outdoor shopping center.
The kids loved the fishes.
Kneaders for lunch-
We took a tour of Brigham Young’s home.
The Salt Lake Temple is stunning.
Nice pose Porter-
Marlee is darling-
The Conference Center was closed for some event:(
Tonight we had dinner with the Johnsons.
Laun, Jennette, Julie & Teressa
The next day we had a pizza picnic at the beautiful Riverton park.
Laun bought a little toy cow set for Carter at IFA.
He loved them & his pizza.
Then the Larsen’s went with us to an elk farm. Laun is a nutritionist for them, that’s right, not just cows, elk, too.
The owner & her daughter took the kids in to feed the elk & pet them.
I loved seeing the baby Elk & the great big ones.
Carter & Michael
Carter was in heaven.
Uncle John showing Carter a kitty.
Then the Larsen’s headed home. We loved visiting with them & can’t wait till they come back to Utah.
