Last night the kids and I came to Phoenix since Laun was flying in from Salt Lake. My dad picked him up from the airport and we were all excitedly waiting for him at my parents house. He was in Utah for a job interview which went really well, so we are hopeful. He still has to graduate, but we are hoping to have a job in place before then.
He always brings home goodies for us when he’s been on a trip. It gives the kids something to really look forward to. This time he brought taffy and t-shirts.
I’m excited for Carter to grow into this onsie.
Carter got his ten minutes of freedom from the brace tonight for a shower. This is what the brace looks like without a baby in it:)
Today Clayton had a soccer tournament in Phoenix, he played in two games.
Grandma and Grandpa and Rachel came with her kids to watch.
In between games we visited with Grandpa Mecham and also got to watch Kenley, since Laura went to see Savannah participate in the state spelling bee.
Kenley with Grandpa
Carter was sleeping and Porter was at the spelling bee with family, so we only got a picture of Clayton and Marlee with Grandpa.
We got to pick some fruit…love Grandpa’s grapefruit.

Marlee with a fruit picker.
Kenley is so adorable.
Carter thoroughly enjoyed soccer.
We couldn’t find the sunscreen so we did our best to keep Kenley shaded.
Ironically, in Clayton’s first soccer game he got the good sportsmanship award and in his second game he got a yellow card- haha. The referee actually misunderstood something Clayton said and this is the first time he’s ever gotten a yellow card.
Then we went to Clayton’s team party- swimming and pizza.
Everyone loves Carter.
