doctor visits

I rarely take the boys to school. They walk since we live so close, so it was fun to see them head into school today.

Rose had her 4 month appointment today. The doctor wants me to track her eating, since she hasn’t gained weight lately. He’s guessing that she’s such a happy baby and she doesn’t fuss very long when she’s hungry, so she isn’t nursing enough. She should nurse 7 times a day and he’s guessing she’s only nursing 5-6 times daily. He says this is common with very happy babies, so we hope tracking how much she nurses a day works.

stats: 10.12 oz. 3%, 22 1/4 in. 3% and head 16.5 80%

Then we went to the hospital for Laun to get a scope done. He’s had extremely bad acid reflux and lots of pain. They found out that he has a hiatal hernia and an ulcer. They need him to take medicine for a month and then come back for another scope. We are sure cramming everything medical in, since we’ve reached our out of pocket for the year.
