Laun, Porter & I went to UMC today while Cooper had surgery to seal a valve on his heart. We went to the cafeteria & got some flavored milks. It is something small we can look forward to.
The surgery went well & his heart murmur is gone now. Laun & I were worried sick, so we were relieved it all went well. There is an incision on Cooper’s back now, from where they went in. Porter got to see Cooper for the very first time today, since Cooper was in a separate area from the NICU.
We went back to UMC later on. I love this picture of the boys sharing a milk. Jeff came in town, so Laun took him up to see Cooper.
I hope Cooper pulls through & makes it.
