Father’s Day

Laun as a baby-

Laun baby

Laun inspires me. Laun was only 7 months old when his father passed away. Grandpa Hall was a great influence on him, but he passed quite some time ago. Laun has had to figure out on his own, for the most part, how to be a father and he has done and is doing an amazing job. He loves his kids more than life. He’s got their back and they all know it. He pushes them to learn more and try harder. He’s a wonderful example of how to be a husband, father and friend. He has taught them so much. He goes to church, holds the priesthood and gives them blessings when needed. He directs family scripture reading & prayers. He is a great provider and worked hard in school to get there. When he’s home we feel safe. He watches over and protects us. He’s there for the kids and attends their events whenever he can. He is my rock and my number one fan. He is my happy place. We love you Laun, Happy Father’s Day.

My Dad…

He’s a source of wisdom, sound advice. He lives the gospel. He writes my mom love notes, all the time. He always provided, we always had our needs met. He’s prompt. He is amazing at serving in his callings. He’s a teacher and a leader. He knows more than one language. He has served our country. He has his bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees. He just retired. He grills and makes breakfast. He plans, organizes and pays for family reunions (for all his children  and grandchildren) every other year. He always opens his home to me and my family. He’s often working on his talents and improving himself. He’s an example for good. He is healthy. He loves my mom. He tells my children stories. He is my Dad and I’m thankful for all he has taught me and continues to teach me. Love you Dad.
