Then we headed to the Ostrich Farm, sadly they weren't doing monster truck rides today, now we will have to go back. We still got to feed all the animals though.

This cracks me up for some reason, goats sticking their heads out of holes to eat.

This was funny too- goats way up high & you send food up to them.
The guys raced to see who could get the food up to the goats first.
My favorite part for sure, feeding the birds. I have so many pictures of this, because I loved all our facial expressions.
You hold a little cup of nectar & the birds come right to you. I don't think I need any description of how Marlee reacted, just check out the pictures:
Porter was in heaven, he loved feeding all the animals & didn't seem to ever be nervous. Just look at his cute smile.

Clayton was surprisingly hesitant to feed the animals (the kid who catches spiders or snakes with no problem). He started off like this so that the birds were not actually on him:

I have been loving Spring Break, too bad the boys have to go back to school next week:(

Looks like you all had fun! I missed the goats in the air!! I always think of your brave boys when we do stuff like that so it totally surprised me to see that Clayton was hesitant! Jacob (4) held a snake this weekend at the Ben Avery at the AZ Game and fish show, but little B (6) wasn't interested... check out my blog in a few days for pictures :)

We went the day before you guys to this place! where was the place to send the food up to the goats in the air?? everything was so close, how did I miss that? and you fed the ostrich out of your hand?!?!? they were attacking the pans so there was NO WAY we would get close to them, we threw the food into the dish from a distance. you are brave! The birds were fun too, my kids were a bit freaked out when they got close, so Chris and I did all the feeding.
Have you ever eaten an ostrich egg? I think it would be so fun to buy one and try it just to say you have! one of these days!
