I’m surprised at how well Carter is doing only 1 day out of surgery. He only woke up once last night and I gave him medicine and snuggles and he went back to bed fine. Clayton really wanted some snuggles with Carter before school. I love how much the older kids care for Carter.
Carter’s been on medicine pretty steady today, but his pain seems to be under control. He’ll grab where his bandage is and say,”owie, owie”. He’s been pretty happy though! It’s nice that he could walk after this surgery and not have to stay over night in the hospital or be in a body cast.
Marlee has this smile where she almost looks like she’s in pain, but she’s not. She was pretty to get her birthday money from her Turley Grandparent’s today.
