I think I found this idea on Pinterest…where you have a mom and child journal. I thought it was such a great idea, so I picked up one for each of my kids. Each child has their own journal with me. I write something in the kids journal and then end with a question. Then they answer my question and write something to me ending with a question. And we just go back and forth. It won’t be an everyday thing, just whenever they feel like picking up their journal and writing to me. Since Marlee isn’t full out writing yet, she will draw pictures or tell me her response that I can write and we’ll just progress as she does.
Here’s some of my first entry's in their journals…can’t wait to “hear” back from them!
