Raggles loves to join us on an outing. Here’s my view from the front seat of Marlee and Raggles riding in the bed of the truck down the dirt road.
Those are some happy kiddos.
We stopped to pick some grapes.
And then headed out on the road again. The views were gorgeous today.
We stopped to try out Clayton’s binoculars.
Clayton used his birthday money to buy binoculars and was pretty excited to try them out.

I love seeing animals out in the wild.
We’ve had great memories on this road.
We stopped to pick more grapes. This “tree” has been taken over by wild grapes.
There’s a tree in there somewhere…
We saw some cool flowers.
The kids jumped right into grape picking.
Marlee is a good little hiker, but sometimes she still needs rescuing from her daddy.
Beautiful night, beautiful weather.
I love these kiddos.
There was plenty of grapes to pick.
Marlee doesn’t always last long when it comes to working:) Here she is walking off to take a break (I love how she put her thumbs through her belt loops).
She kicked it in the bed of the truck drinking a soda.
Raggles always seems to get dirty.
We picked grapes for a long time…
We didn’t’ get a round to dinner until after 8pm. Laun forgot matches, but of course he figured out a way to start a fire.

Then we moved the fire to the fire pit.
Laun cooked up little smokies.
He also got the kids chips and dips. No wonder he’s the favorite parent.
I’m pretty sure Laun was the only one still awake when we arrived home…and it’s a good thing since he was driving.
