Laun baptized Porter.
My dad was also baptized in this same font when he was 8 years old.
Ryan did Porter’s confirmation.
The happy parents, well you can’t really tell from this picture that Laun was happy, ha ha.
Porter looked so handsome in his suit and he wore the little gold pin from my brother Andy’s family.
Wearing a big boy tie:)

After the baptism we had a lunch in at our home: adobada (amazing recipe from our friend Misty) and a yummy cake that Darleen and Jonathan made.
Most of our family and friends had to head out right after lunch, so we were hurrying to feed them and I didn’t get pictures of hardly anyone that came. I was bummed to not get a picture of Laun’s siblings together or of my mom. At least my mom got a picture of my Dad with Porter though. It was just a busy day!

Porter got some neat presents today.
His Great Turley Grandparents sent him a scout book and shirt, since he is now in scouts.
Grandma Lucy got him a whole bag of goodies and Dr. Collier got him a tackle box.
Jared’s family got him a journal (which Porter has already used to record his baptismal thoughts in today) and my Mom gave Porter a towel (which he used at his baptism today) and my sister Rachel embroidered it.
Tonight the boys all played cards.
Today was such a wonderful day and we were so thankful for everyone who came to share it with us and support Porter. We love our Porter and are so proud of his choice to be baptized.
