Laun bid on a fishing boat in California & got it, so we went on a little weekend trip to go pick it up.
Clayton was showing me his incision as we were traveling, it has lots of scabs still, but it is healing well.
We are excited to have a little fishing boat & it came with a motor & trailer.
The trailer tires both needed to be replaced & luckily Laun brought two new ones with him. The boys got to help some. They are lucky to have a dad that teaches them so many things.
I think some children have been watching Princess Bride a little too much lately…
We stopped to let the kids get out & walk around for awhile.
The kids really wanted to go to this jerky place.
The jerky was good, but the kids ended up getting dried cantaloupe (disgustingly sweet) & some chili lime pistachios (very good).
On the way back from California we went to my parents house. The kids had fun picking the fruit to be juiced & playing in the yard.
Laun helped trim a tree.
We helped with juicing at Grandpa Mecham’s home & at my parents home.
Marlee really likes my parents dog, Bear. She was out there carrying on full conversations with him.
Bear liked the attention & followed her when she tried coming inside.
