I love the excitement on the kids faces as they saw their Easter baskets.
Don’t mind the clean laundry on the couch-just look at those cute kiddos:
Some of the fav candy’s were: Gummy army men, pop rocks & peeps. I personally like the chocolate.
Look what the Easter Bunny (aka Laun) brought for me- a pearl necklace! It will go great with my pearl earrings that Laun got me many Christmas’ ago.
After church Darleen & Jonathan came over for Easter dinner: ham, scalloped potatoes, braided bread, green beans & brussel sprouts.
Then the kiddos found Easter eggs…
some were in a tree…
or sneakily hidden.
At first the adults would help Marlee find eggs…
but then we realized that she could figure it out for herself. We caught her sneaking out eggs from her brothers baskets while they were up the tree. She is naughty, but smart.
No wonder she ended up with the most eggs.
Clayton was determined to get back some of his loot from Marlee. Watch in the following pictures how he sneaks back one without her even realizing. She is too busy making faces at the camera to even notice.
They were excited to find coins & Cadbury eggs inside their plastic eggs.
Then we decorated hard boiled eggs:
love Porter’s hands
Marlee sticks out her tongue when she is concentrating, just like her Grandma Lucy does.
Darleen made strawberry pretzel Jello- best jello treat ever!
I am so thankful for the chance that we have to celebrate Jesus Christ today and spend time with our loved ones. Happy Easter!

I love how the boys are shirtless and Marlee is sporting a swim suit.
