Laun & I took the kids to visit Grandma Lucy in the hospital, she just got her other knee replaced. We made a little vacation out of it. We stayed in a hotel, went swimming, took the kids to a buffet, and had lots of visits with Lucy.
Our kids love buffets. I think it is because they have so many foods to choose from, plus they get drinks and desserts. Marlee hammered the slurpies, lets just say she got a little hyper that night.
We watched a movie with Grandma at the hospital.

We stopped in to see Grandma before we headed home. The boys had fun seeing how many flags they could spy from the hospital window.
Marlee was a little nervous about this whole hospital thing. We visited Lucy three times on this trip, so I think it helped Marlee get used to the whole idea of Grandma having an ouchy on her knee and wearing some strange hospital gown.
Lucy is doing pretty good. We love Grandma Lucy and had such a fun time visiting with her. Hopefully we made her hospital stay a little more entertaining:)
