It is about time. We have been looking for a dog for ~6 years. We found one of these German Wirehaired Pointers in the paper six years ago and have searched for the perfect one. The dog is not from the best looking breed, it may be said that they are flat ugly. When we found this puppy in Iowa through puppyfind.com we looked no more. He came with bed-head or bed-body, and is the wireyest looking one we have seen.
The boys love him and Marlee is not so sure of him yet. On the way back from the airport Porter said that this was the best day of his life, and better than rootbeer floats. Well said Porter, well said. This was before we told the Boys it was their job to poop scoop, but they took the news well.
He is a great little dog and we call him Huck for short.
