How the heck is Carter 3 already?!

I love how Sydney keeps her eye on him and grips her bottle.

He’s very expressive, like Porter, which makes gift opening fun.

Grandma Turley got him books & Grandma Lucy super hero's.

We got him a trike. It was actually suppose to be a Christmas present, until I figured out they were delaying surgery and he’d still be in a cast then, so I saved it for his birthday.

For birthday lunch with dad and a lot of us tagged along, we went to the Chinese buffet. Just look at him walking!

He loves noodles.

We had crepes for dinner. It was suppose to be breakfast, but he didn’t feel very good when he woke up, so we moved it to dinner. Pouring the milk from the cream cow.

We all are obsessed with you, your funny smiles, your laugh, your sweet little voice. You’ve been through a lot, yet you’re so strong! We love you always and always.

After Carter’s birthday lunch, Clayton decided not to go back to school. Instead, Laun took him and Thomas rabbit hunting. What a beautiful day!

5 days

Carter has only been out of his body cast for 5 days and he is back at Shriner’s to see Crystal for physical therapy. Marlee missed school to go with us. One of the kids usually likes to come.

Marlee was a great helper, so they let her pick a prize. She picked out these earrings because they are dangly and I don’t let her wear dangly earrings yet, hahaha.

Carter is walking up a storm with his walker. He is very motivated, which is so helpful.

I’m shocked that he will already walk away from his walker, he’s not even a week out!

I love this massive play room at Shriners, my kids love it.

It is such an inviting hospital.

He’s been using his walker a lot, but just barely, he said he doesn’t need his walker. Only 5 days out, what a trooper!

Marlee’s grin is always changing with loosing teeth.

(My Grandma Turley brought us a big sugar cookie with our name in cursive for v-day, mine aren’t as pretty, but I love carrying on her tradition)

Not only is my valentine cookies, I also leave heart notes on their doors.
