This kid loves blueberries, he was a purple mess tonight.
He also loves his belly button.
Sydney Carter Marlee Cooper Porter Clayton Catherine Laun
Carter has his animals lined up on Laun’s desk.
cutest thing ever
Even when he plays in the laundry it’s adorable…
We got Carter a toddler bed and he sure loves it. After we set it up he kept laying in it.
He has been climbing out of his play pen, so we knew he was ready.
I love this note Marlee gave Porter (PBH). Not sure what she did, but how could he not forgive her after this?
Carter fell asleep in Laun and I’s bed. Sleeping babies are cute. He’s almost 2, so technically he’ll be a toddler soon!
Porter’s team has been having a great indoor soccer season (Port’s in the bright orangish shoes).
They set a new record for themselves…scoring 20 goals in one game (which is only 40 minutes long). Porter’s #21 and I think him and his teammates were pretty pumped. I think Porter scored 2 goals. What a game!!!
Today (for the 7th graders) it was go to work with your parent, so Porter got to see a little bit of what Laun does. I hope he realizes how freaking cool his dad is.
And Carter discovers new things all the time, like finding ways to get into high drawers, great.
I’ve been going to the gym since I think October, with my friend Corrine Cook in the ward. We try to go 3 times a week and we go to the 5:30 am classes (kick boxing, spin and pump). I have to wake up right before 5 am to get out the door. I’m not a morning person and it’s been hard to keep going with it being so cold and pregnant, but I’m doing it. It’s hard, but so worth it. As a mom, I feel like it’s easier to work out first thing in the morning, so I can make sure it happens. I took this picture this morning on my way back from the gym.
Carter left this on my toilet…an armless cowgirl. I’m gonna miss stuff like this.
I love Marlee’s drawings. She told me all about what she learned at school today, about the great state of Utah. Like how we are the beehive state, since we are busy like bees.
Today I went to get blood work done for one of the many pregnancy tests. You know you have prego brain when you take a picture of where you parked, so you don’t forget, hahaha. Then we (Carter and I, my main buddy all day) went to Sam’s Club. He loved this animal book and I couldn’t resist, I had to get it for him. He loves books and he loves animals, it will make a great birthday gift.
Then we headed to the school for lunch with Marlee (or as Carter calls her, Nana). She was happy to have us there and for school lunch instead of a packed one from home. I love my Boo! I’m going to miss these days and having lunch with my kiddos!
Today I finally announced on social media that I’m expecting a baby girl on July 11th. The kids were happy to finally be able to share the news, that they are getting another sister, especially Marlee. I’m just thankful that I’m finally starting to feel better and be more “myself” again.
This is a sight I love to see, it means service. Clayton and Porter’s snow boots. They have shoveled our sidewalks and driveway and many neighbors/ward members homes, too. They haven’t taken any payment, as they want to earn service hours for scouts. Between them and Laun, I haven’t shoveled snow once!
Marlee brought home a darling valentine for Laun (he loves her notes)…
Marlee brought home a fabric mustache from school. She was so excited for Carter to try it out. It took awhile to convince him to wear it.
Marlee’s stache almost matches her hair color. I always tell her she has honey hair and she loves that.
Carter’s loves are kind of like attacks.
He touches his incision and says “owie” and I love how his nose scrunches when he says it.
Poor baby (I got a balloon after one of my hip surgeries that said poor baby on it & I think of it when I say poor baby), just look how long that incision is!
He loves marshmallows. Our FHE treat tonight was indoor smores.
And he has a new trick. He takes off his diaper and throws it in the trash can, great. He also loves blasting the radio and dancing in the nude. He’s a fun one.
