Marlee is six!!!!

I can’t believe how long her hair has gotten!

Marlee always wants to carry Carter, although she’s not quite big enough.

I took some treats in for her kindergarten class and she was so excited, even though I was late and the kids were standing in a line waiting for me!

lunch with Daddy- Hu Hot, a Mongolian grill

dinner- steak, shrimp, potato's and corn (much better than one of her previous years, where she asked for Hormel chili)

Dessert- pound cake, blueberries and whipping cream

1- She’s a mini mom.

2- Her sweet singing.

3- Her desire to learn.

4- Listening to her read (mainly sight words still).

5- She is so funny and we are always cracking up at how she words things.

6- She is adorable from head to toe and tougher than most boys.

time passes too fast

Clayton wore these red overalls when he was a baby and now Carter fits in them (cast free). I can’t believe that time has flown by so fast!

Carter was too busy brushing his teeth to look at me.

You can often find the boys playing soccer in the basement.

Aunt Julie got leg warmers for Carter, he looks cute in them.

And they are perfect because they fit under pants to keep him warm.

Marlee and Porter’s tithing slips from Sunday, I had to get a picture.

Then one of Trent and Lindsie’s boys had a birthday party at the Provo Rec Center. I took the kids while Laun stayed and wrote his church talk (thankfully, mine is pretty much finished).

Marlee wouldn’t go on any slides when we first arrived, not even the kiddie ones, but by the end her favorite was the huge slides!

I forgot towels, so we used Carter’s baby blanket and made it work.

Marlee was happy to come home to birthday money from the Turley Grandparents. She’ll be 6 on Monday!

Laun felt like soda, so we all went to a new store here in Spanish Fork and everyone chose some drinks. I really picked out what I wanted based on the bottles. I got the huge jar filled with apple juice because I want to put popcorn kernels in it and the pink lemonade bottle I will use for oil.

I can’t decide what card is cooler…my hip card or my scuba diving card, I’m pretty proud of both and I worked hard to earn them!

lunch date

I met up with Laun for lunch with Carter and Marlee. The food was a disappointment, but the company wasn't.

Apparently, Marlee was too cool to drive home with me, so she rode with Laun.

The best thing about Marlee’s hair getting longer is all the fun hairstyles that can be done.

I can often be found with these two cuties at Costco.

my mom took me to…

Marlee came home recently and told me that I needed to take her to the mall. She wanted to write about it for school, so we went.

I love her drawings- here’s me and Marlee at the “moll”.

I also took Carter and Porter to the mall. I love that she drew baby Carter.

What she should’ve written about was my amazing jumbo chocolate chip cookies…which I made for Laun to take to work:)

Laun got his doctorate diploma in the mail!

These two papers- his Master and Doctorate Diplomas represent so much hard work! I’m so proud of Laun.
