Marlee outside the feed store- just stopping to smell the flowers.
We got 5 baby chicks today, since we don't have enough animals already:



We had our neighbors over for dinner & I made bruschetta with our garden tomatoes:



We went to our first Toros baseball game- they gave away kid jerseys to the first 1000 kids. Clayton & Porter got some autographs on their jerseys:

Marlee has a whistle in this pic, they were giving them out & you could hear lots of whistling through out the game-the players must hate that:

Jonathan was giving the boys tips on how to get a ball & it worked because they got one:

I was kind of forced into buying this rip off but delicious kettle corn. There was a lady sitting near us that had some kettle corn & Marlee kept staring at her so, the lady gave her some. But then Marlee kept trying to go back for more & I knew she would be doing that all night so, I had to buy a bag of our own. Geeez...Marlee knows how to get just about anything she wants. She ate that popcorn all night:

We had a picnic, Laun & Jonny played catch, the kids had fun on the playground, & we went on a walk.

Sage had fun running around- maybe she got enough energy out to stop climbing up our shed or to stay off our fence or to quit visiting our neighbors yard.

I thought this was so cute. Marlee has her arm around Jonnys arm & was leaning her head on him.

Laun turned 32- 1 year older & wiser, too!

Jeff & Lucy came into town this weekend & we celebrated Laun's birthday.

I made him cheesecake for dessert & topped it off with 32 candles, which he blew out all at once.


We had ribs, mashed potatoes, corn, & rootbeer for dinner:

Laun got a pellet gun for his b-day present.


Friday night Jeff treated us to Claim Jumper & it was delicious.

Laun's b-day is tommorow so, I asked the waiter to bring him a treat, it was one of his favorites-red velvet.


The appetizers were very good-nachos & calamari (best calamari I have ever had).

Laun got a hamburger- he highly reccomends getting a hamburger from Claim Jumper.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream

Tonight we had ice cream for dinner- seriously, we did. What is it that is so magical about an ice cream cone. Who doesn't love an ice cream cone?

Laun took the kids to the zoo:

We sold 2 bunnies yesterday-I can't believe how big the brown one got!

Porter lost his 1st tooth last night. I love his new smile!

1 down-many to go

He was very excited about the 5 bucks the tooth fairy left under his pillow. I hope he realizes that the tooth fairy only leaves that much money for the first one:)

I really like eating outside, it= no sweeping & easy clean-up. So Laun went to Home Depot & in no time I had a picnic table. We ate dinner outside last night. Plus it is nice because when company comes we never have enough room for everyone to sit at a table, & now we do.
