Marlee Cate Hall has arrived...

Introducing the Cutest Baby in the Nursery:

Marlee Cate Hall was born on Jan. 12, 2009 at 12:20 pm. in the Logan Regional Hospital in Utah.
the stats: weight-6'13 length-19 1/2 in.

To start at the beginning, here's a before picture of me in the hospital with baby #4:

The dr. wanted Marlee to be a planned birth because of the problems we had with Cooper. Although Marlee never showed any signs of trouble we just wanted to be sure. So I got to be enduced 5 days before her actual due date. It was very strange to know the day your baby would be born. I just woke up, got ready & headed to the hospital with Laun. Lucy was at home with our boys & my mom was flying in this morning. I went into the hospital at 7:30am & I was dialated to a 3 & 70% effaced. So they got everything ready, an iv just in case, & gave me some potosum to start the labor. A little while later they gave me an epedural & pretty soon I was dialated to a 10. It happened faster than the nurse thought so she said,"don't sneeze or the baby will fall out before the Dr. gets in." The Dr. made it on time & pretty soon our Marlee arrived. Laun & I were all smiles & a little teary. We were so grateful & releaved that she was healthy & all was well. After losing Cooper & realizing just how fragile life is we couldn't have been happier. I was so overwelmed & happy that our baby girl was here! We have been so excited for all our children to come but, I think this time was a little different since we had experienced such sadness & loss last time. All babies are such miracles & I think we just get it. Our hearts are FULL with joy.

Laun has always told me that he feel in love with me at first sight. I no longer think I am the only girl he has fallen in love with at first sight now that Marlee has arrived:

Just look at that smile-pure joy:

Hopefully Marlee likes lots of attention:

She is adored already...

Laun had an audience watching him when he gave Marlee a bath:

How cute are these two

I love how calm & peaceful she looks when her Daddy is holding/bathing her:

G'ma Turley holding Marlee. Marlee is named after my mom because when she was born we thought she looked like her grandma & Marlee is similar to the name Meralee. And her middle name is Cate after her mom, Catherine & begans with a C because my name is spelled with a C.

G'ma Lucy loving on Marlee:

My mom's sister Ina was kind enough to bring my mom from the airport & come to see our little girl:

Lots of dark hair- her 1st bow:

I don't know if these boys will ever get enough of her:

Too cute:

All dressed to go home (we never took Cooper home so, we were very excited):

Snug as a bug-it is cold out there:

Everyone waited up late to see Marlee come home:

I LOVE Clayton's smile-Marlee is so lucky to have such great big brothers. Just like me, she is the 1st girl after 3 boys which will = spoiled rotten.

We are very happy to have Marlee as part of our family! We are so blessed to have both of our mothers here, too.

so long, farewell

Yesterday we put our stuff in the Westover’s shed. I packed for the hospital, finally.

Today we went to our Whitney Ward for the last time and said goodbye. We have loved living in Ezra Taft Benson’s childhood home, although I will miss the yard more than the home.

busy day

Laun went to the physical therapist for his back today. His back has been going out, so hopefully this helps. Lucy, Porter and I met Laun at Gossner’s for samples and treats. Then Lucy and I went shopping and got some clothes for the baby and Clayton. We finished all of the cleaning at the Benson home and we are done and out before the baby comes! We are so blessed to have family here to help us. We went to Casper’s for ice cream tonight. What a crazy couple of months it has been.

aye aye captain

We were moving out the last little bit of our stuff and cleaning up the Benson place, so the boys had plenty of down time to play. Have you ever seen a rooster in a styrofoam boat? These boys are the cutest pirates I’ve ever seen.

lots of changes

On Saturday we started moving into Lou and Diana Westover’s home in Lewiston, Utah. They live in Glendale, Arizona and only live in Utah for the summers, so they are letting us live in their home! We are putting most of our belongings in their shed and it will be nice to have less to unpack (since their home is fully furnished). We will only be living here for 1 semester and then Laun will graduate with his bachelor’s degree! Lucy came to help us move. Thank goodness…I am about to pop with this baby. I went to the doctor and I am dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced. I’ve been sick and on a z-pack and Laun’s back went out. Oh yea and Laun started school on Monday. We are on a roll with all these changes. And before I forget the boys will each be going to new schools. Clayton will attend Lewiston Elementary and Porter will go to preschool in Richmond, Ut.

Today was Clayton’s first day of school and his teacher is Mrs. Simmonds. His school day is from 9:10-3:00 and he will normally take the bus, it will come by the house to get him. When I took Clayton into his class he seemed really overwhelmed and I cried as I left the school. I feel bad that he has to switch schools during first grade. He is sad about leaving his friends, but he is very social and will do great.

Clayton came off the school bus singing today. I think he’s going to be just fine:)

Aunt Tressa and Lucy are both helping us move things from the Benson home. Laura and Justin came tonight and helped, too. Then we took them all out for Mexican food for all their help. We are so grateful for all the help. I had lots of contractions tonight, maybe all these changes and work to do will put me in labor.
