I had a doctor appointment today and they put a band around my belly to monitor the babies heartbeat for around 30 minutes. She seems fine and Porter was so good for me. He watched TV and chatted with me. Then he helped Laun mow the yard. I volunteered in Clayton’s class today and then took him with me to run errands. We went to Stokes and the library. Sometimes I forget how much I love the everyday things.

pumpkin patch
Today I volunteered at Porter’s preschool. They are learning about the color green and all got to help glue green things on a dragon.
Then we drove in the bus to the pumpkin patch.
I cherish these times with my kids.
Porter & some of his classmates.
I love how arched Porter’s back is, I think that pumpkin is over his weight limit:)
The preschool class with their teacher.
There was some big pumpkins.
Porter picked a white pumpkin & I picked a green pumpkin.

Porter is the VIP this week at school. He is very excited. We made a poster with his name and pictures. He liked putting stickers on the poster.

garden veggies
Laun & I talked in sacrament meeting today. I talked about trials & Laun talked about hope, so we both talked a lot about Cooper. We miss him so much. After church the Westover's came over & brought us garden veggies. It was good visiting.

life’s a picnic (sometimes)
We found parts of a little picnic table scattered around under yard debris, so we sanded it down and stained it.
Cute little helpers:
I’m going to put it on the front porch for the boys.

Phoenix trip!
We spent the weekend in Phoenix so that we could be at our friend Squaggs (Brian Wilson) wedding. On Thursday night we stayed at my brother Andrew’s house in Provo,Utah. We had a good time talking and were glad to break up our driving a little. We left Friday morning for Phoenix. We ate dinner at Lucy’s and then went over to my parents house to surprise them. The boys were happy to see their grandparents.
Then Lucy and I took the boys and Alissa to: As You Wish-a pottery place. The kids picked out a ceramic to paint.
Porter picked out a butterfly to paint that has a hook on the back, so he can use it as a Christmas ornament.
Clayton picked a T-rex dinosaur.
Tonight we went to my Grandpa (Bob) Turley’s birthday party. I was happy to see my aunt’s, Buffy and Becky since I don’t get to see them very often.
Then we went to Squaggs and Becky’s wedding. It was fun to see family and friends.
Laun with baby Charlotte.
Nae Nae & I (with only 3 months left in my pregnancy).
We drove all the way home today. We did stop to pick some prickly pears though.
It will be nice to make some prickly pear jelly and syrup.

full day
My cute little preschooler, I got to volunteer in his class today.
The boys love playing in the side yard and on that old piece of farm equipment.
Check out Porter’s right leg-ouch! That kid is crazy flexible.
Sweet Clayton. I think he’s trying to build a fence:)
Clayton was in a posing mood today:
His facial expression was so funny; I had to get a close up picture.
Laun and our awesome neighbor Mel Thompson finished putting on the metal roof tonight. Luckily they both lived through it, especially considering how steep that roof is. Mel is the coolest neighbor ever and it’s a good thing since he’s really our only neighbor.
The metal roof is looking good:
It was a beautiful fall day.
