As I was rushing out of the house this morning in my pajamas I heard a strange sound. I saw our cat on the side yard chasing some animal, but I was in to much of a hurry to see what it was, so I called Laun to check on it. I was in a hurry because when I woke up I realized I hadn’t felt the baby move for awhile and Laun or I couldn’t get him to react/move at all. I panicked and didn’t even bother to change out of my pj’s, but instead went right to the hospital. A little after I arrived the nurses got me all hooked up to the monitors and I heard that baby boy’s heartbeat, what a relief! I have actually been pretty calm for the most part during this pregnancy, but this really scared me. Thank goodness he was ok. While I was there the nurse told me I was pretty progressed and she’d be surprised if I made it to my due date or even to next week. We shall see, I’m just glad my baby is ok. Anyways, the animal our cat was chasing was this cute little bunny. Luckily, it was rescued before it became a meal to our cat.

gem show & pizza
The Gem Show is a huge event in Tucson every year. People come from all over the place to either run a booth or check out what’s selling. My kids and I met up with my brother Andy’s family and my sister Laura’s family at the Gem Show.
Kenley, Laura, Avery, Marlee and I
Marlee and Avery are always glad to have a girl to hang out with.
Andy did some work for a guy that had a booth there. My brother always amazes me with his talent.
The kids each had a dollar to buy treasures with-here’s what they ended up with:
Sweet Porter used his money to get me a stone frog key chain.
We tried to get a picture with all the cousins. This is the most we got of Kenley Pearl.
Not sure what the raised fist is for, but it’s sure cute.
Andy with the two pregnant sisters:)
Porter insisted that he take a picture of just the pregnant ladies…Kenley’s in there, too and so is Porter’s finger:)
We went to this pizza place by Andy’s house for dinner. Laun and Clayton couldn’t join us because Clayton had soccer practice.
This pizza place serves 2 feet wide pizza on Monday and Tuesday nights. We got one huge one, a pesto chicken pizza and salad. The food is so good.
our little preschooler
Marlee likes to dress herself. She’s growing up too fast! I love when I drop her off at preschool and she gives me a hug and kiss and reminds me to write her a note. They have a mailbox where parents can write notes to their kids and they get them at snack time. Love this girl.

quail
We got quail eggs in the mail today. They will be put in the incubator. The boys are excited for them to hatch. They got Italian gold, Texas A&M, Tuxedo, Tibet, Jumbo Brown and Button quail.
lunch dates
Marlee has gone on lunch dates with Laun and I for a long time now. When she was born Porter was already in preschool, so we have spent a lot of time with just Marlee. Pretty soon we will have another baby and it won’t just be Marlee joining us when we go out for lunch. I’m sure she will be more than happy to share her time with the baby…I hope.

jerky
Laun made lots of jerky today. Normally I like jerky, but it doesn’t sit too well with me when I’m pregnant. That’s ok, everyone else will be glad to eat my share:)
Marlee and Porter were excited to help.
The jerky pieces were huge. Everyone said it tasted great. I’m pretty sure the kids will eat it non-stop till it’s gone.
3 weeks to go!
I’m due on March 2nd, but since that date is barely into March I’m curious to see if he’ll actually be born in February. Which would be nice since we already have two March birthday boys.

Saturday soccer
On Saturday game days the boys each have two soccer games. Their teams play one Sunday game as well, but we don’t play on Sunday’s since it’s church and family day for us.
Porter’s games:
Clayton’s games:
I love this picture of Marlee and I watching the soccer game. My prego belly sticking out and Marlee sitting back and chilling.

Marlee is one tough girl
Tonight Porter’s scout group was playing broom hockey and Marlee joined right in. I think she was the first one to score:) Of course you can’t play broom hockey without any injuries. Porter got a real good whack to the leg and I’m sure he’ll get a sweet bruise.
He is his mother’s child
Last night after visiting the temple Porter really wanted to go to Golden Corral for dinner, but it was closed. So tonight Laun took him to dinner there (and spared me because I dislike that place even more than usual when I’m pregnant). Porter likes that they have fondue machines, but his favorite is the cotton candy. Well, they were out of cotton candy and not running the machine. Porter was determined to have cotton candy, so he went over to a worker and some how got his wish. I get a text from Laun saying something like they have no cotton candy, but Porter somehow came back with some- he is his mother’s child:) I’ll take that as a compliment. Plus, who could say no to a cute brown eyed boy like Porter?
