I never thought dead duck pictures could be so cute…
Laun took these pictures of Clayton cutting the meat off the mallard duck he shot the other day. I’m so proud of my 11 year old boy who is so capable of so many different things. I love how Raggles is just sitting there watching it all. Now I have feathers all over my backyard.
By the way those are olives that have dropped from the tree all over the yard.
I love this kids smile.

How does one sleep like this?
Marlee slept a good part on the way home tonight. Her sleeping positions crack me up.
Here she’s holding on to her latest art work.
There was a box in between Marlee and Clayton on the bench seat. Apparently, Marlee thought it made a good pillow.
duck hunting
Today we went with Ryan’s family to do some duck hunting.
Here’s the group heading out to a pond and hoping to see some ducks.
Ducks are spotted and 2 get hit.
I think the gun is as tall as Porter.
Going to get the ducks.
Ryan’s dog had no interest in fetching the ducks.
This picture looks funny with the dog in back…almost like it’s a dog with a duck head.
I don’t know if there’s ever been a girl so excited to hold a duck before:)
These little girls look so cute with ducks in tow.
I love this view of Laun:)
Marlee’s taking the wheel.
Looking for more ducks…sneaking up to a pond.
I love these boys.
I love how Porter’s covering his ears.
These three pictures of Laun and Ryan crack me up because you can tell they are shooting at the same duck, their movements are pretty identical.
Regan’s happy to hold another duck.
Clayton shot this sweet mallard duck.
The inside view of the feathers.
The outside view- I like the blue feathers.
Porter fell asleep. Later that night he got real sick, poor kid.
Looking for more ducks with no success this round.
I love this busy little girl.

Pearce’s birthday
Clayton was super excited that not only were we spending the night at Pearce’s house, but that he got to celebrate Pearce’s birthday with him.
The boys loving the hot wings and ribs.
cake time
Pearce is now 12 and gets the priesthood.
They all put their ties like this because that is how John always wears his tie.
