Show Low (aka The Mountain)

We stopped on the way up & got pictures by monster mountain (what Laun called it as a kid).

 

That night we went to the Larsen’s house.

Porter’s hair was already buzzed super short, so Uncle John went ahead & bicced it.

 

Porter was so excited & now he & John have matching noggins.

 

Today we went fishing & played in the water at Show Low Lake. Marlee was snacking on the boat.

 

Laun took our kids & two of the Larsen boys. I kicked it on shore with Jeff & Lucy (we enjoyed a quiet lunch).

 

Marlee loves anything near the water.

The water was pretty cold, but that didn’t stop the boys (Michael, Clayton & Porter) from jumping in.

 

The kids had such a great time. The only part they spent away from the water was when they stopped for lunch.

 

Luckily I remembered to bring a change of clothes for the kids. We stopped by Cooper’s grave on the way back.

School’s out for summer!!!

I am excited for swim team, some little trips, and summer movies with the kiddos.

I was smart this year & got pictures of the boys with their teachers the second to last day of school when it was a little less hectic.

For the last day of school Laun shaved Porter’s head and let him wear a mow hawk to school, Porter’s dream.

Clayton filled out this form for school all by himself without any help. In fact, I didn’t even see the finished project until he had already turned it in and brought it home.

 

I noticed the section that said: Meet My Hero. For his hero’s, he put this:

Talk about bonus points! Man I love that boy. I also love ^ the stick drawing of Laun and I. What would I do without my Clayton?

Darleen’s Dinner to celebrate her graduation.

Darleen is one of those amazing students…she has gotten straight A’s, for her whole life! She graduated from UofA with a 4.0 GPA! We are so proud of you Darleen- you little smarty pants.

Marlee took the extra dough & rolled it out. She loves helping in the kitchen.

Collier’s house

This morning we headed over to Dr. Collier’s home and helped him clean out his pond. The kids loved helping out by catching all the fish & turtles. Once the pond is refinished, the turtles & fish will once again live in it.

 

Marlee couldn’t resist…eventually she got in the pond.

 

Afterwards, the kids enjoyed swimming.

Shoes with pink puffs are a must when riding a bike.

 

The boys love riding their bikes.

 

I think it is time to get Porter a bigger bike.

Duck, Duck, Goose!

I sold all our ducks this morning to a local feed/animal store. They are so cute, but I know as they grow they will get louder & messier. Plus it is always nice to get some cash.

 

Next we need to sell our rabbits:
