Fruit Picking

We went & picked peaches & pears today, mainly peaches. The boys had so much fun using the fruit pickers.

We always love eating some of the fruit as we pick.

Hopefully someday we will have many fruit trees of our own.

Porter loved getting help from his Daddy to reach some of the higher peaches.

Tonight we stopped by Laun’s cousin Sean’s house & picked some prickly pears. We brought tongs for picking.

Soniota Rodeo

We love Soniota, it has green rolling hills & you’d never guess it was so close to Tucson.

Clayton’s first day of Kindergarten

Clayton was pretty excited for his first day of Kindergarten. I have mixed feelings, but overall I am very excited, too. His teacher is Mrs. Kittle & she seems very nice. He is in the same class as his cousin Cannen Hall (Mutt & Karlee’s son) & he is happy about that. His school day is from 9:00-3:10, so it is a full day. I am excited to hear all about his first day.

Cooper's headstone

Today Laun placed Cooper's headstone with the help of his brothers at the ShowLow Cemetery. It is crazy to think that Cooper has already been buried for four months & the headstone is now just being placed. You order it and then have to wait until it arrives, it kind of takes awhile.

The Hall gang {what a great support they have been to our family}.

Laun helping Porter put a hand print in the cement.

Clayton's turn to put his hand print in the cement.

I really liked how the headstone turned out. Laun put it in with a tilt which makes it easier to read.

Porter & Clayton's hand prints-they are a little hard to see.

I am so glad that our boys were able to be part of the process today.
How I miss my Cooper.

The half circle is where we will plant a rose bush.

The next day we went to Gary Hunter's cabin & I took this picture of the Hall brothers.
